Join David Lindert as he reads selections from his new book Teargarten. The book is a collection of 40 poems and will be available for purchase.
I believe in poetry
because poetry is a whole story and stories are short
Energy flows through the shortest path
While writing long stories
I start losing myself in a vicious circle of mind
as the mind rebels and changes
Into a poem I put all of myself genuinely
and as it stands alone in its collection
it is symbolic for life
I do not use dots because
I do not believe in a closed circle
Life flows on a sine wave in circles
Teargarten
Carefree whisper
talented fister
syphilis blister
without own opinion
jobless mister
darkroom companion
heavy hammer
disabled loo slammer
wild fawns
in basic labels
Teargarten dawns
spent on the tables
my greatest loss
I‘ll water your cross
