DESCRIPTION:A First-of-Its-Kind Exhibition Celebrating TOM House’s LGBTQ+ Artists-in-Residence\nCurated by Jamison Edgar \nThis exhibition celebrates fifteen years of artists-in-residence at Tom of Finland Foundation and frames TOM House as a living pantheon of Queer mythmaking. \nFXLK PLAY transforms Long Hall into an immersive exhibition of painting\, sculpture\, and video that evokes the maximalist nature of TOM House and its world-renowned erotic art archive. DESCRIPTION:Bid farewell to FXLK PLAY with us at our final reception! After a monumental month celebrating our artists-in-residence past and present\, it’s time to say goodbye to this historic exhibition. Join us once again for a screening of FXLK PLAY highlights; words from the Exhibition Manager\, Catalina Bulgach; and a special appearance by former Artist-in-Residence Daphne von Rey! \nDaphne von Rey is a Los Angeles based performance artist who primarily uses her body to depict her experience as a HIV+ transgender individual.\n“Tom of Finland Foundation means a lot to me especially as that’s where I began my transition and journey as both a performance and visual artist.” –Daphne von Rey \n \n \nThere is no smoking or alcohol permitted on park property. There are two free parking lots in Plummer Park. The south lot (off of Santa Monica/Martel) enforces a 3-hour parking limit. There are no parking limits in the north lot (Fountain/Vista).
