The Finnish Institute in Japan works extensively in different fields of culture. The Institute produces an innovative and inspirational cultural program and creates interaction between different cultural and artistic actors in Finland and Japan.

The Institute in has organized an auxiliary program in conjunction with the Tom of Finland exhibition, Reality & Fantasy: The World of Tom of Finland. The program consists of lectures that highlight the multitalented artist’s work from different perspectives. The audience will also have the possibility to ask questions after each Zoom lecture.

The series touches on a wide variety of topics including a preview of the #TOMs100 edition of Tom’s biography with its author, Valentine Hooven and Durk Dehner on 29th September.
