Award winning stamps

Yes, it is still possible for a printed piece of paper to build into an international event. Yes, graphic design does have an effect in other arenas besides marketing. And yes, the judges too bowed in front of these boys. This could have been realized in so many wrong ways, but this time it was made right.

The Tom of Finland stamps received a great honor from the Association of the Visual Communication Designers of Finland GRAFIA. They hold an annual competition for the best communications and design projects in Finland. This year the stamps received the Kultahuippu award (The Golden Peak) at the awards gala.

Congratulations to Tom of Finland Foundation’s Susanna Luoto and BOTH’s Timo Berry for exemplary work. A nation is proud and Touko certainly would be as well.
