“Before the Men” opens at The Visitor Center in Fire Island Pines

The exhibition of Tom’s preparatory drawings Before the Men is presented by the Queer Culture Arts Foundation (QCAF) and Tom of Finland Foundation in collaboration with David Kordansky Gallery and Fire Island Tea. The opening was a success, and even featured deserts inspired by Tom’s graphite drawings and his favorite dessert, apple cake.

A Summer of Tom is a season-long cultural activation in Fire Island Pines that celebrates the intersections of erotic art, queer lineage, and collective memory.
