Tom of Finland Foundation and Galerie Judin celebrating Tom’s inaugural show at the newly opened Die Tankstelle gallery space.

On the occasion of the exhibition TOM OF FINLAND presented by Galerie Judin in their beautiful new gas station location, a guided tour of the show and a reception took place in the garden featuring members and supporters.

The evening was an elegant and austere reminder of the impact of Tom’s work, the importance of seeing Queer joy and openness in art, and how imperative it is that we continue to support the production and exhibition of Queer art worldwide. 

Our Berlin host committee, comprised of former artists-in-residence Fausto, Carlos Enfedaque, Florian Hetz, Rinaldo Hopf and Henning von Berg spoke with our Cofounder on how their experiences in the Artist-in-Residence Program at TOM House was essential to their artistic growth, and the necessity of having an all-Queer space to create without censorship. 

As an arts nonprofit, our Foundation is not supported by the government or taxpayer dollars. We rely on donations from the public to keep our Artist-in-Residence Program thriving, and to properly maintain the priceless archive of Tom’s work.
