This past weekend, plenty of pain pigs braved the Los Angeles weather to witness Bleeding Two Ways, a pain performance by Tom of Finland Foundation Artist-in-Residence Carta Monir with special guests Skye Novaya and the incomparable Sheree Rose.

Part of Carta’s performance included rear projection onto the back of a modified confessional booth. Meanwhile, Skye used an electroshock “therapy” device to administer electric currents to various parts of Carta’s body. Later, Sheree delivered her own sadism upon Carta, at one point drawing blood and making prints from the bleeding incision for attendees to take home with them.

 

A great time was had by all!
