As you know, the entire globe is currently undergoing upheavals in our everyday lives because of the COVID-19 virus that is sweeping the planet. Unfortunately, this is also true for us here at Tom of Finland Foundation.
Due to California’s new “Stay at Home” program, which has been instituted for an undetermined time period, employees are working from home and no volunteers or members of the public are allowed at TOM House, located in Echo Park, a neighborhood in Los Angeles. Staff members who live here only go out for essential goods like groceries or medical services.
The Foundation relies on income from visitors to TOM House who enjoy curated tours, exhibitions and other events held here. Because the House is currently not open to the public, we are actively seeking your direct financial support to help us continue our presence and operations in this crazy time.
The Foundation, as always, remains dedicated to the idea that erotic art is important in a free and open society, and we will continue the fight to bring erotic art into the open. In this time of “lockdowns” “quarantines” and “social distancing,” we understand better than most, how a microscopic virus can affect the lives of everyone you know, and how uncertainty brings anxiety and fear. If we come together as a community, we can fight COVID-19 just like we, and Tom of Finland, fought HIV many years ago.
Please visit our Membership Page where you can become a member or make any size donation that you can. Any and all financial support from the public is greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps. Staff, members, and art lovers from around the world thank you for your generosity.
Highest regards, and stay strong,
President and Cofounder
