On Thursday 8th June, Artist-in-Residence Antoni Hervàs will showcase the fruits of his labor here at TOM House. 

Entitled Black Magic, the new installation is about life, community and remembrance; about looking backwards whilst moving forward. Leather, Queer culture and brotherhood mingle together on Tom of Finland’s pages, which make up Hervàs’ sculptures.  The seeds of this project were planted in Spring 2022, when Hervàs spent time working in the Foundation archives to uncover the story behind one of Tom’s last series of work. Hervàs returned this year to complete the long-gestating project.

Accompanying Hervàs’ presentation will be a bootblacking station plus a new zine encompassing Hervàs’ research.
