Mark your calendars! We are more than excited to announce that our 2024 fest is taking place Sunday, June 23rd 11am-6pm in L.A.’s Arts District!  Expect a fun filled, zine packed event bébés

Zine library and other activities

The L.A.Z.F. Zine Library will be set up in the back of the venue near the loading dock. (See vendor map on page 10).

If you are interested in donating a copy or copies of your work, there will be a Zine Fest volunteer collecting donations on the morning of the Fest after you check-in. You can also drop your donation off with a volunteer in the Zine Library at any point during the day.

The Zine Library is a great way for attendees to see what work is available at this year’s zine fest, while browsing zines of years past. After the Fest is over, donations will be added to the L.A. Zine Fest traveling zine library that we bring to all of our workshops and events. Zine donations are not required, but are MUCH appreciated. Thank you in advance if you choose to donate!

Workshops

Learning By Doing presents: Collage Art & Watercoloring Painting on Tree Bark.
Paper is one of civilization’s small miracles. Made from fibers: weed, bark, & sawdust, etc. Where does it come from? How is it made? Come explore the art process of paper.

Facilitated by artist Jess Ofelia Sandoval who has a background in nature-based education, art teaching, & gardening.
