EXTENDED RUN

As of today, 11th May, Fotografiska Tallinn’s doors have been reopened to visitors seven days a week.

It is also possible to book a visit to Fotografiska in advance so that everyone can visit the exhibitions safely.

The gift shop and cafe with an open outdoor area located on the ground floor are already opened for the visitors, as well as the exhibition areas. The restaurant with its rooftop garden will be open on 20th May. We will also continue our private tours for two, yet larger groups can initially be booked for up to ten people at a time. We are are working out suitable formats to experience our cinema and events most safely.

Tom of Finland is the artist name of Finnish Touko Laaksonen (1920, Kaarina – 1991, Helsinki). He signed his erotic work “Tom”, and when his drawings were first published in 1957, the now world-famous “Tom of Finland” was born. He is known for his homoerotic art and for his influence on modern day culture. Over the course of four decades, he produced nearly 3,500 drawings and paintings, mostly featuring men. This exhibition is the first to focus on Tom’s photographs, in combination with his drawings, showing his artistic process and produced by Fotografiska in collaboration with Tom of Finland Foundation on the occasion of the artist’s birth 100 years ago.
