Head Out on the Highway consists of motorcycles on display accompanied by paintings, photography, and various ephemera celebrating the subject matter, with further support by various topical events and film screenings over the course of the exhibition schedule.

FROM THE CURATORS

Motorcycles pull at the soul.

An amalgamation of metal and mechanics has brought about a machine that inspires the very idea of freedom to so many, led by a unique commonality: the love for the ride.

Head Out on the Highway, as an exhibition, examines motorcycle history, its culture, and the subcultures that have followed.

As a frame of mind, it invites you to explore the world that surrounds you . . . For, in doing so, you may just learn more about yourself, and your fellow humankind.

Ride on,
