It’s our history | 2003 | Salon Night at a collector’s
19th February 2022, 9:31 am
Our Salon Nights are relaxed evenings where artists and art lovers can gather together in relaxed surroundings.
Artists can display their work. Art lovers are also invited to bring along some favorite pieces from their collection. Everyone has a chance to share and enjoy.
- Artist Sean Platter presents a new work to the Foundation’s Permanent Collection.
- “Sacred Cock”
This night was a little different. Shawn Farnsworth has such a wonderfully extensive and varied assembly of small, medium and huge pieces of erotic art that he offered to host this event at his home. So — in addition to the works brought by attendees — we were treated to a mix of traditional, contemporary, classical and erotic art in a handsome and livable environment.
Shawn is truly an exemplary patron of the arts. One of the highlights of the evening was his guided tour where he disclosed the history behind many of the pieces.
Many thanks to John Jockinsen, our guest co-coordinator, and the numerous volunteers, artists, and patrons that made the night a brilliant success.
