John Waters donates work to our permanent collection

John Waters is a maverick for all things camp, known mostly for his movies, books, and plays. He is also a rebound visual artist and long-time friend and supporter of Tom of Finland Foundation and our mission. He has loaned his talents to us for many events and projects over the years, including loaning work for the 2018 Tom House exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. He is now a permanent part of our collection and home. John recently gifted, along with Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York, Hairy, a limited edition C-print from 2006 to our growing permanent collection.

John, thank you for your continuing contributions.
