New ToFF aquisition: Drawing by IOn

The artist, from Athens, Greece, has donated this work to Tom of Finland Foundation.

In 1993, Ion was a Third Prize Winner in the Tom of Finland Foundation’s Emerging Erotic Artist Contest. Since the Contest, the artist has sent several additional works for inclusion in the Foundation’s permanent collection. All of his work includes military themes transformed with a sense of humor; martial hardware becomes the phallic symbol of male sexuality.
