We invite you to enjoy the videos created by the remarkable documentarians at L.A. Art Documents, who capture and preserve contemporary art practices, including this spring 2026 Tom of Finland Foundation exhibition. These videos tell authentic stories that reflect the heart of FXLK PLAY and its public programming.

FXLK PLAY, with its phonetic and orthographic resemblances to FOLK PLAY, FUCK PLAY, and FIX PLAY, nods to the slippery mythology of this more-than–Tom of Finland figure and to the diverse roles the artists-in-residence play in shaping his Foundation. At its core, the exhibition proposes Tom as a modern-day folk hero around whom a Queer community has coalesced, creating its own rituals, traditions, and creative signatures.

These videos are intended for both visitors and those who were unable to attend the exhibition or its programs. We share them to extend the experience beyond the physical space and to engage, inspire, and connect with our community.
