Thank you Miguel Angel Reyes!

Until recently, Miguel Angel Reyes, a longtime volunteer and friend of Tom of Finland foundation hosted our bi-monthly drawing sessions at TOM House.  

He began facilitating the fun and welcoming environment for our community to hone their drawing skills for nearly twenty years ago.

His art has been exhibited throughout the U.S including – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Alaska. Miguel has created murals for the Los Angeles MTA, and bus ads for the LA County Office of AIDS – AIDS/Living Responsibly’s campaign. Miguel’s work is in the collections of LACMA print collections, Laguna Art Museum, Watts Towers Arts Center, University of Austin, TX, Tom of Finland Foundation, and Fine Arts Gallery Museum, Chicago.

Miguel created ToFF’s first non-Tom of Finland limited edition print in 2006, Poolside and received a Tom of Finland Special Recognition award in 2009.

A skilled artist and illustrator, Reyes has taught at Otis College of Art and Design and continues to lead life drawing classes around Southern California. We are looking forward to see what he does next.
