The big 4-0

In 1984, on 14th December, the nonprofit Tom of Finland Foundation was officially established by Durk Dehner and his friend Tom. 

As Tom of Finland had established worldwide recognition as the master of Homoerotic art, ToFF’s original purpose was to preserve his vast catalog of work. Several years later the scope was widened to offer a safe haven for all artists and their freedom of expression.

Today we continue our efforts of educating the public as to the cultural merits of art and creating a healthier, more tolerant world.

We have been here for forty years because of you and because of you we will be here for another forty.

Yes, it’s a big anniversary for us, and yes, we do gleefully accept gifts on this special occasion!
