It will be opened on 7th November 2011, in Hollywood at the Antebellum Gallery. The exhibition, curated by Rick Castro, of Touko Laaksonen aka Tom of Finland – coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Finnish artist death’s day , ideated in collaboration with Durk Dehner and Tom of Finland Foundation, following until 23rd December 2011, featuring unseen works by the artist. Here it will be showcased photographs and collages made by the artist – who has also celebrated by a scent “Tom of Finland”, created by the famous French brand Etat Libre d’Orange – of whose stylized fetish art, iconic erotic images, paying homage to the male beauty, influenced the late twentieth century imagery. A not to be missed happening to enjoy the work of a bright artist.
