Tom of Finland Foundation is holding an online charitable auction for Pride

Sexology 101 is here and dying to teach you a thing or two. Sike! Sexology 101 is the Tom of Finland Foundation charitable auction hitting the web until 11th June, in celebration of Pride month. 

The erotic auction has been curated by Brooke Wise, an independent curator and artist based in LA, with a total of 21 pieces of work up for grabs. Over a dozen emerging and established artists that celebrate and represent the LGBTQIA+ community were chosen by Wise, creating a selection that features a Chloe Wise bootylicious oil painting and Peter Berlin’s 1978 flexing print, to Irena Jurek’s kitty kat study buddies and Brian Calvin’s pastel lips.

Richard Villani, director of special projects at Tom of Finland Foundation, explains:

Our biggest fundraiser we do is called TOM’s Bar, which we hold on Father’s Day in June and align with Pride, but we were unsure if we would be able to go ahead this year. So, the idea of a virtual auction seemed the smartest route. This obviously allows a much bigger audience for us and gives us an opportunity to partner with Artsy which was an ideal situation.
