Looking back on last month’s TOM’s Bar, we are thrilled to honor our 2023 Cultural Icon Award winner Violet Chachki.

Her flair for fetish fashion and her whip-cracking wit have made her one of the most beloved and in-demand drag artists in the world. That’s why New York Magazine named her one of the most powerful drag queens in America.

But more than these achievements, what truly makes Violet a Cultural Icon is her ability to empower others to be themselves. Violet exemplifies what is possible, encouraging fans of all identities, orientations, and ages to embrace and celebrate their unique qualities, to find the beauty within, and to shine brightly.
