Volunteer profile: Catalina

Since its inception in 1984, Tom of Finland Foundation has always been a membership-focused and volunteer-driven organization. Today we highlight our volunteer Catalina, who had some words to share about why she supports the Foundation.

“What drew me to Tom of Finland Foundation was my love of the subject of eroticism, and my thirst to live within the world depicted in Tom of Finland’s sensational art. It is my dream to dedicate my practice to exploring the complexity of desire and the self, and through archiving at the foundation I am able to work closely with this artist who so well portrays the softness and hardness of sex. I am honored to spend time with an exceptionally wise and generous team, who with Tom of Finland have materialized a utopian vision of life.” – Catalina

TOM wants you! Not only are people needed at the events themselves, but there are many other ways you can lend a hand.
