TOM wants you!
Not only are people needed at the events themselves, but there are many other ways you can lend a hand. The Foundation always needs help with planning, advance work, distribution of promotional materials and general preparation. Please read about all that YOU can do!

EVENT VOLUNTEERSCheerful ambassador? Love fun, sexy events? Got a good head for organization? Have the energy of a race horse? (Or an enthusiastic gerbil?) Know how to safely move heavy equipment? There are many different skill sets that must meld together to create a successful event. Strong backs are always welcome, but if all you can do is sit, smile, and hand out flyers then we have a position for you, too! ARCHIVE VOLUNTEERSArchiving efforts are even older than the Foundation itself — beginning with documenting Tom’s artwork and growing to include new generations of artists! About twice each month our volunteers gather together to sort, organize and analyze the ever growing collection of artist submissions, keep track of images loaned out, and help keep everything in order! Computer skills are always in demand, but certainly aren’t required. |
SPECIAL VOLUNTEERSDo you have a car, van or truck? We can always use computer savvy folks around the Foundation, but if your particular skill is cooking and keeping a kitchen flowing there are times that ability is in demand. Filing, typing, answering telephones, repairing and fixing stuff… If you have a talent, there’s (almost) a sure bet that the Foundation can use it. |
