Welcome to our new ED

Tom of Finland Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of David Aldea as Interim Executive Director. We thank Edward Cella for his service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

David Aldea brings decades of private and nonprofit sector experience to strategy, licensing and operations. A longtime supporter of ToFF, Aldea co-produced a 2024 Fire Island benefit and is a collector of Tom of Finland. Ever the entrepreneur, Aldea has built up an international rental property portfolio and helped manage art licensing for a number of artists including Hunt Slonem. Aldea is a graduate of the Aspen Institute Artist-Endowed Foundations Initiative training program.
