This proposed bill, in its current form, has several provisions that would impair the ability of nonprofits to serve people and strengthen communities. Most significantly, the bill would reduce charitable giving and allow all charities to engage in politics.

It’s not good for you. It’s not good for us.

The U.S. Senate will likely vote on this week. Phone the Capital switchboard now at 202.224.3121 and demand that your senators reject this irresponsible bill, for whatever your reasons.

Even though the House has already passed its version of tax reform, it is still important to also contact your representative and relay the same message.
