Irvine Fine Arts Center invites the community to view its annual juried All Media exhibition. Join us 8th July for the opening reception from 2-4p, featuring this year’s guest juror, Gabriela Urtiaga, Chief Curator at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach. The annual juried All Media exhibition showcases artwork from Southern California artists working across all visual creative disciplines celebrating diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas through art.

One notable work included in the exhibition is a mixed media painting by friend of Tom of Finland Foundation Skeith DeWine entitled Gleaming the glass cube with Mr. Slater, in which DeWine pays homage to the actor Christian Slater for his role in elevating skateboarding into the mainstream. DeWine’s latest film project, Out in the Streets, addresses the growing interest of the LGBTQ community and People of Color to be active participants in the sport and world of skateboarding.
