This is our must-see – well, for anyone roaming the streets of New York City, that is. Taking place at Fotografiska New York is Tom of Finland: The Darkroom, the exhibition celebrating the king of homoerotica (and the perfect place to see an array of hunky men).
As much as we love boys in their leather, Tom of Finland’s art was much more than that. He was the revolutionist of the portrayal of gay men forevermore. The exhibition brings together the photographic portraits the artist used as reference images, as well as celebrating his 101st birthday and book Tom of Finland: The Official Life and Work of Gay Hero. In the Big Apple right now? You should definitely go have a snoop. –Brittany Newman
