Tom of Finland didn’t just draw bodies.
He drew Queer people as they deserved to be seen: confident, desired, joyful, and human. Leather wasn’t costume in his work, it was identity, freedom, fantasy, brotherhood, and pride made visible.
Through the work of Tom of Finland Foundation, that legacy continues to be preserved, protected, and shared with new generations of artists, Leathermen, and Queer communities around the world.
Pride is freedom to live openly, express desire without shame, build chosen family, and celebrate the cultures and communities that made Queer life visible in the first place.
