Enjoy a special screening of Tom of Finland (2017), the biographical drama by award-winning director Dome Karukoski, written by Aleksi Bardy, and starring Pekka Strang who brings to life Tom of Finland, one of the most influential and celebrated figures of 20th-century Gay culture.
The evening begins with selected shorts by former Tom of Finland Foundation artists-in-residence and includes a special preview of the soon-to-be released documentary House of Leather (2025) directed by Jamison Rockmore, which follows three artists exploring their creative identities during residency at TOM House.
Also featuring “State of Mind” (2022) by filmmaker and multi-disciplinary artist Donald C. Shorter, Jr. that highlights the intimacy and beauty found through the experience of power exchange in BDSM/leather/fetish/kink.
