The Art Of Diversity

Traditionally, prideART Berlin presents its annual springtime exhibition at Atelierhaus Lichterfelde with the recurring title Primal Matter. As in previous years, there is no narrowly defined theme but rather a broad concept (primal substance, basic material, basic essence, descent, etc.) that each person imagines to mean something completely different. The curators were astonished to see the extremely diverse artistic responses from creative minds from all over the world to the invitation. A very comprehensive spectrum of interpretations with a variety of motifs was submitted. Once again the curation largely avoids aesthetic censorship. The exhibition therefore deliberately presents a wide range.

We’re truly proud of the tremendous international response. Renowned artists are also keen to support the diverse Queer community. Our goal is an exciting mix of established artists and motivated amateurs.
