The Salon by NADA and The Community
This presentation for ToFF’s 40th Anniversary highlights works from AllTogether, a landmark group exhibition that showcased the Tom of Finland Foundation’s permanent collection to the to the public for the first time outside of Los Angeles, held in the context of the Venice Biennale in 2022, a subsequent exhibition at The Community Centre in Paris in the summer of 2022, followed by an exploration of New York’s rich queer histories in a multimedia experience in the summer of 2023.
This new, diverse curation features the narratives of artists through works typically found adorning the walls of TOM House. In conversation with these historical pieces, also present will be the works of artists who have participated in the sought-after Artist-in-Residence Program at Tom of Finland Foundation. The legacy of Tom of Finland endures through the Program which empowers a new generation of LGBTQIA artists from around the globe.
