“Let’s talk more about JW Anderson and Tom of Finland. Each of these brands are rooted in LGBTQIA+ activism, as both founders, Jonathan Anderson and Tom, are queer themselves and seek to elevate queer voices. Anderson has been a fan of Tom of Finland’s work for years, as the artist came through with his aesthetic long before homosexuality was made legal in his own country. Anderson has previously stated, ‘I think Tom is someone who has really changed queer culture.’ The continued collaboration has been a dream come true for Anderson.”
