“My work explores the full range of the Queer experience, encompassing gender, ethnicity and race, body type, and erotic desire. “ – Felix d’Eon
Felix d’Eon is a Mexican-American artist of mixed, Native descent, dedicated to the art of queer love and identity. His paintings, in vintage techniques which mimic Edwardian children’s books, old master drawings, mid century comic books, and other styles, portray our Queer ancestors and give them a voice they were themselves denied, and places our community in history, while normalizing Queer desire and gender diversity. He practices the Mexicayotl faith, an indigenous religion and philosophical system native to Mexico, and lives in Mexico City with his husband and dogs.
