Remembering everything the country has given us, right?
“What a heartwarming evening we had, celebrating Independence Day with fellow Finns and friends of Finland. The Consul General, Okko-Pekka Salmimies, kicked off the festivities at the residence with his speech, followed by interviews with members of the Finnish-American community. Ilo choir, led by Selma Seppänen, charmed the audience with their performance of classic Finnish songs. The evening was crowned with an amazing buffet dinner by beloved chef Sirpa Welch. Both the menu and bar featured products by Finnish food & beverage companies, already available in the U.S.”
Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää! 🇫🇮
