The exhibition celebrates the force and impact of the photographers whose stories have been shared at Fotografiska. It brings together international stars Helmut Newton, Robert Mapplethorpe, Richard Avedon, David LaChapelle, Jimmy Nelson and Tom of Finland.

This exhibition will celebrate 80 years of LGBTQ IA+ comics, including previously unseen original works by more than 60 artists from around the world ranging from underground creators to influential icons, including Tove Jansson, Rupert Kinnard, Alison Bechdel and Tom of Finland.

Luke Evan’s Met Gala ensemble draws from the bold, graphic sensuality of Tom of Finland, echoing his precise linework, celebration of subcultures, and unapologetic eroticism.

It stages the emergence of the iconic Tom of Finland figure not as an invention ex nihilo, but as an accumulation: an image built through careful repetition, variation, and deft selection.

It is open to any artist with the exception of previous winners of the ToFEAC, or artists who are already commercially selling work that portrays sexuality.
