Meet Antoni Hervàs, artist-in-residence

Antoni Hervàs

 

“My research focuses on how, out of the margins of society we find a way of creating community.” – Antoni Hervàs

Antoni Hervàs studied fine arts at the Universitat de Barcelona (2006) and engraving and printing at the Escola Llotja. His solo exhibitions include The Awakening, at Human Resources, Los Angeles (2023) and at the Green Parrot, Barcelona (2022); Copacabana, at The RYDER Projects, Madrid (2021); Sausages, at OKELA, Bilbao (2021); The Rubbery, 1646, The Hague (2017), and El misterio de Caviria, La Capella, Barcelona (2016). Hervàs has been a resident at Gasworks, London (2018), and the 18th Street Arts Center, Los Angeles (2017), and won the 2016 Premi Ciutat de Barcelona d’Arts Visuals.
